Hi, I'm the mom of an aspie. He's 21 now. We've had a tough road. I've know for a while that his dad and I both have ADD, anxiety and mild depression issues. But the other day I took one of those 50-question diagnostic tests, and found I'm on the spectrum myself (I'm sure my husband is if I am). Whereas the "norm" on the test was a 16.4, anything over 32 was considered being on the spectrum. I scored 34. No wonder we have so many problems!
Anyway, that's a long and roundabout way of asking if you could add 'Aspies Parenting Aspies,' or something similar. I'm sure we're far from isolated in that regard. Thanks!

Many of the posters on the current parenting board are AS themselves. The board is intended to address all sides of how AS many affect parenting, whether the AS is in the child, the parent, or both.

Would that be clearer if we had a running thread with a more specific heading?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do believe a clearer description would be helpful.
