NOOOOO!! ! If I didn't know about it, then I wouldn't know, would I? A lot of people, usually naive women think that hookers just have vaginal sex. THEY DO IT ALL!! and with everyone who puts up the money for whatever perversion a client is looking for. Going to prostitutes can also turn into an addiction to where a guy will still go even if he's married. Some guys prefer sex with them.

nope. My ocd wouldn't let me so much as kiss a guy who'd been with a prostitute.

here is my caveat.

not really a caveat, more of an explanation. i said no but it is not a definite no, just a preferred no.

the reason is that a guy who needs sex solely for the physical gratification of it is not for me. i know this is most men.

most men are not for me.

I would never. Just the thought makes me a bit queasy. Not only the idea of all the nasty things he could have turns me off, but I don't think I would want to date the type of person that would pay a person off the street for sex.

What about someone that has had sex with someone that had sex with a prostitute?

It would depend... First of all, prostitutes, who knows who they slept with and second, I would question his character. What is his view on women? What are his views on me? How does he view sex?

He would have to explain why... I mean, if he did a lot of bad things in the past but later transformed for the better and BEFORE I get into that relationship and he was clean of any disease then maybe, as long as he was fully committed to me and marry me and I know and trust him really, really, really, really well, like, really well.

i thought of a circumstance that would justify it to me.

say a guy was a virgin in his late twenties or something and dwelled on it constantly, and really just wanted to stop thinking about his virginity and all the importance people place on sex and that sort of thing. he wanted to get it over with and get the embarrassment of being a virgin out of his head and quit thinking about it.

now let's say he emerged from the incident slightly repulsed by the experience and without having caught an STD, and it was something he cared not to repeat, and he explained honestly, i would not be too put off by it. it would help if some time had passed and it was also something that could be written off as a folly of youth.

No. I cannot see sex as just physical need. Would not want to have sex with someone who can treat it as such.

I voted Yes -- which is really a HUGE maybe -- because I realized I had no way of knowing whether any of the guys I'd slept with *had*.

i think i set the poll for 30 days, so it is now closed. final results indicate that (of the women on WP who saw the poll and chose to vote in it), 63% would not sleep with a man who used a prostitute. 37% of women said they would.
