Hi everyone.

I have become pretty bored with the fourms recently. I'm thinking they're in need of a spice up.

Something like member competitions like art comps, word games, and other stuff.

Post ideas here.

I like the idea of word games, especially Word Association.

Many of the other forums I have visited have a specific board for random stuff like games and things like that. I think that may be a good idea, here. Anything that is not a serious discussion topic can be posted there. Some of the games played are in other forums are "Word association" "the person above you" and "the avatar above you." Online tests and quizzes usually also go into this category.

I've noticed that the new posts go through cycles of being boring and at other times having lots of interesting topics. Lately, there seem to be alot of posts with extremely morbid views of psychology that, from my personal experience, results from chronic depression. While these people should be free to express their views here, I think a concerted grassroots effort needs to be made to liven things up for everybody else.

I like the idea of a visual art competition, since art is one of my favorite things. I draw stuff whenever I get the chance.

I am rather busy right now, but I am curious to hear more about your idea for the Art Competition. If you can put it off for a couple of weeks, I'll gladly supervise for you. Right now I have too much going on in school to do so, unfortunately.
