How do you know what average is if you yourself by definition are not average? Did you read the book on averages? :?:

General Intelligence- have been tested in 130s and 140s (Verbal IQ about 20 or so points higher than Performance IQ)

Memory- my memory is very random. Some things I forget in a few seconds (especially things which have been said to me; I'm not good with auditory stuff) but then I remember random things I see forever. Overall though, my memory could use a tune-up.

Vocabulary- my vocabulary is better than the average bear's. But I have noticed rather par for the course amongst Aspies.

Spelling- my spelling has some flaws, but on the whole is quite good.

Attention span- hokay, attention span is very bad. Am constantly distracted by noises and sights, etc.. Though I can get lost in a good book. But my reading environment also has to be very quiet (and no people).

Creativity- this is an area in which I excel. Poetry, art, etc.. And just creative ways of viewing the world.

ToM- my theory of mind is certainly lacking compared to NTs, but I learn slowly, though I still can't tell too well when someone is uninterested in what I am talking (or rambling) about. In short, yes, the universe revolves around me.

Parse complex sentences- I am usually fairly good with grammar and rules, just from having never forgotten them since 7th grade. And also I have a great love of languages and have studied languages in school since I was 6.

Computer programming ability- my programming skills are poor, but I have never really tried. I have always been more taken with books than computers. Probably simply because I never had one until recently. But I do prefer reading something in a book over reading it on a web page.

Mathematics- my algebraic skills are good except for graphing (can't understand graphs to save my life), but I constantly make small errors and not for a lack of understanding the material. Just dumb errors. My father was more into math than I am. I do love logarithms though :D

Literary/Artistic Analysis- hmmm, with literary analysis, I am not good at. Summing up what I just read, etc.. But with art, I am very good at saying what works and what doesn't and why. Better with visual analysis than with words.

Engineering- Now this I am horrible at. I have extreme difficulty with spatial things (similar to NLD) but am a wholly visual person. I just see everything in 2-D so to speak. All my designs would be flat as paper IRL, lol

Range of emotion- I do very well with humor and being blank or confused. But as far as being and showing "sad" I don't do. I can show frustration VERY well, but I don't know how to show it appropriately and it gets out of hand. Overall, I am more humor and serious than anything else (not at the same time, but I switch from one to the other).

Reactivity to events- Most of the time I have very little reaction to events. But sometimes I react too much over something that is very small.

Positive thinking- except for when I am driving and getting angry at idiot drivers, I am a very positive person and have been blessed with that in my genetics I think.

Impulse control- with money I am getting better impulse control (even better than my NT mother actually). But usually I don't do too well with control especially when talking with another person. I have a terrible habit of interrupting :(

Empathy- my empathy has always been extreme for animals. For humans I generally feel very little. Unless I sit and think about it for a long time. I sometimes feel more empathy for characters in movies than real people. I think it is because of the added music. I wonder if life had background music, if I would feel more empathy for RL people.

Moral judgment- I am usually very generous to people not particularly because I care, but because I just like generous acts. But I think people will do as they will, but I only think it correct to accept all consequences.

Coordination- hmmm, I am a messy eater and constantly drop things.

Balance- my balance is horrible. Though funny enough, I have an easier time walking DOWN stairs than I do walking UP them. Queer isn't it?

Handwriting- my handwriting is generally unpredictable as in appearance (all depends on the pen and writing surface), but has for the most part always been legible. It is more that the look of my handwriting always seems to change. Plus, some days are better than others.

Reaction time- hmmm, never really thought about it. I think it is fairly normal. I will have to pay attention the next time a ball is thrown at me...

Visual- being very visually oriented, I am affected much by sight. I am not always blinded by brightness as I have heard others talk about, but brightness makes me uneasy. I notice bright getting too bright when I am already anxious.

Tactile- I am touch sensitive to the oil in peoples' skin. I also enjoy putting pressure around my head and about my ears (though not over them).

Gustatory- This is my worst sense for me. I have a very limited diet. Also, the tactile sensitivities inside my mouth are horrible, especially my gag reflex (many times I have difficulty brushing my teeth without gagging, so it takes awhile to do it properly as I have to take small breaks).

Olfactory- I hate perfumes and really anything that doesn't smell like plain air. Fresh air is by far the best smell in the world. Although I do often love the smell of basements too for some reason.

Auditory- I am usually alright with sounds as long as I am not anxious or tired. THEN they bother me to no avail. I rejoiced when my noisy neighbors moved out last month.

Temperature- I dislike heat! I don't like to be inordinately cold, but I do often keep my windows open in the winter while the heaters are running.

Color Coordination- I am quite good with colors, especially in my art

Drawing/Painting- I am very good at art.

Fine art/nature- I adore both! Nature has been my constant best friend and art has been a lover.

Foreign culture- I am intrigued by other cultures, though have not always had the full interest enough to study them.

Good food- my idea of good food and other peoples' ideas of good food never match. I forever appreciate my choice good foods. I mostly hate theirs.

Sensuality- Sadly enough, I rarely think about sex, though I am always passionate about my interests.

Music- I grew up loving Frank Sinatra. These days I listen to Frank, classical, musicals, classic rock'n'roll (Oldies), some jazz, and some alternative.

Acting ability- my acting ability is about average I suppose, though I am usually VERY skilled are memorizing long pieces of scripts. For instance, did a large part of Hamlet in high school for a class project.

The Mile- OH, GOD! EVIL MEMORIES!! ! I was the worst runner in my entire grade.

Speed- speed is horrible, has always been horrible, even when I trained myself to jog in place when I was 16 and 17 for a half hour a day and was in the best of shape. sigh.

Strength- the strength in my arms is my best. I have a wicked Raquetball serve.

Endurance- my endurance has always been absolutely horrible.

Stamina- stamina has always been poor as well.

Accuracy- my throwing arm was awesome (fast) but I could have used better accuracy. So, yes, accuracy lacked as well.

Team coordination- when I played a sport I played very seriously as if life was on the line. So I got to be too bossy sometimes and telling people what they needed to do. Even got threatened by my coaches for doing that.

Pain- pain was never that bad for me. I finished games of softball (I was catcher) with a broken thumb a couple times.

Sports- I played basketball, softball, and raquetball (my favorite).

Eye contact- my eye contact is horrible. Instead, if I even look at a person's face, I look at the mouth/nose area.

Use of body language- hmmm, I'm not sure how much I use. I use some I think. But not an excessive amount. And it is usually more to help what I am talking about (not into hugs etc.)

Tone of voice- my tone of voice is either very flat or VERY animated (too animated), and either too loud or too soft.

Facial expression- I don't know. I can never see myself when I do it unplanned.

Rhythm of conversation- well, as I said earlier, I interrupt way too much, and talk more than I should. And I really have a hard time listening to the other person.

Attentive listening cues- these I have gotten very good at faking. "Uh-huh. Oh yeah. Sure. Right. Of course. Uh-huh." And nodding. I nod WAY too much though I think.

Balancing needs with others'- As I say, I enjoy being generous, but usually I come first. But not being around a lot of people, that isn't as much of a problem as if I lived with someone.

Leadership- I have good ideas and know how to organize, but I hate being the center of attention like a leader is. I prefer to work alone if at all possible.

Courting- I know I tease a lot, but many take that as flirting which it isn't at all. It merely means I get along with you.

That's me.
