Why do some people have the word "veteran" over the posts? I have noticed that some of us have it, and some of us don't. What does it mean?

Yes, it's 500 posts to become a veteran and if you get about 1000, you should be able to change your custom rank -- as at the moment, I've chosen mine as default for the time being.
