Actually we have had unstable mods in the past but maybe that has changed now after what has happened here.

I am no way popular here and I am the mildest on the spectrum. Maybe I am more aspie than I realize? :shrugs:

I thought you were one of the popular people!

Yeah so did I.

Some people think I am, but i'm not part of a clique I talk to no WP members off here. I think people just assume certain people are popular when everyone has different ideas.

From my personal observations, the people in "cliques" get there because they interact a lot on the site and are positive about others. That's why they are popular. Most of these people make a lot of posts every day.

Take the Adult forum "clique" for example: There are about 5 or 6 people who I would see are in that. All post a lot, and all are usually positive towards others. If someone was friendly and got noticed by posting a lot in there, then they will be welcome into said"clique" with open arms.

Well I feel better then. I often feel ignored on here is why so I never thought as myself as popular.

I don't think equality on aspie forums is possible which is why I think we should stop going on about the aspie pride stuff, lots of aspies in my experience are only proud of themselves not other aspies. In fact they value aspies more for their NT skills and less for their Aspie traits. I don't care myself, I am not emotionally involved with having an aspie identity or fitting into as aspie community. I am a cold dispassionate observer.

It seems to me that on forums like this the less autistic you are, the more you "rise to the top" and become popular and important.

i do not understand what motivates jealousy.

there are many people who can run faster than me in the world. i would not expect to win a race if i competed with them, and i do not care that i can not run as fast as athletes. i am not jealous of them.

there are many people who are better than me in every aspect of my manifestation, but i do not worry that they are better than me.

"better" is a subjective thing anyway.

If you have autistic unstable emotions or immaturity, you cannot be a mod,

so be a punk then.

if you can't do funny banter or think of confident nicknames for people, you won't be popular. If you're pretty people will like you more in the NT and aspie world alike. However there is another school of thought which says the calm, mature popular people are just as valid as aspies and the crazy/hated people are just crap and want to use their condition as an excuse. Or will there always be a hierarchy in the aspie world with the mild aspies and semi-NTs at the top?

the more members who are active on a site, the more homogenous the general flavor of the site is, no matter how peculiar the original premises of it's foundation is.
the world is not ideal unless your ideal is to be independent largely from it.

i can live cosily without being foisted upon the shoulders of others who falsely see something in me that they celebrate and i repudiate.

let the popular people be popular. popularity i am certain would not be a panacea for popular people.
people who have the world at their feet have sometimes committed suicide, so i guess there is no place for them to hide from their mental agony. fame and fortune can not fill an empty heart i would think.

there is no solution to angst except to be happy that you are you, and that can not be instilled in anyone. either you are comfortable with being you or you are not. no one can influence you or tell you otherwise.

some people receive for free what you crave, and that you worked hard for but never learned or earned enough to get. it is still better than being born as a bacterium which could have been your fate so easily.

i am just a "word fountain" at the moment and i must go to bed before i say too much more because all "said" thoughts (established) invite more thoughts, and it can exponentially develop into a brainstorm relating to a pointless direction of focus.

so..............
