It's unpleasant.

I'm a B-cup but my belly gets pretty big. I've yet to be mistaken as being or have been pregnant but it'll likely happen. I don't have many oversize shirts to cover the fat. I don't know what to really do about it. I feel like all the fat in my body is going to the belly instead of distributing some of itself to my limbs and sides and whatnot. I still feel very bulgy and stuffed around the torso area even when wearing lose clothes and haven't eaten for hours. Is that normal?

And any good advice on how to cut that belly fat down?

Change your diet and exercise.

have you always tended to carry weight in your midsection? also was this gradual or sudden, and is your lifestyle (diet/exercise) logically causing this? depending on factors like this it sounds like it could be caused by a bona fide health issue.

Many people have this. Here is what it is:

1. Your shape. What you are describing is called an apple shape
2. The functionality of your digestive system. Irregular bowel movements and candida can cause massive bloating
3. If you have a fat layer, it makes it look even fatter.

How do I know this? I am exactly the same. My belly looks pregnant most of the time. Its what i'm most self concious about.

Here is what may help:

1. Take a probiotic - the gas making bacteria in your gut may be out of hand to cause the bloat
2. Eat more fruit an vege to help with regular bowel movements
3. Excersise to shift the fat.

I wish you luck. I hope it works for me too :P

Sounds like an extreme case of bloating to me. It hurts when you try and suck it in. Cut down sweets and eat lots of yoghurt and probiotics.

There's a pill called Lipozene. I haven't tried it, It's around thirty bucks a bottle, too. If anyone has tried this and it's worked let me know. I am curious if it's a rip off or not.

This.

If I'm not mistaken, fat on your tummy is the unhealthiest place to gain it, especially for females,
so I would definitely get everything checked out- hormones would be a good place to start IMO.

There's another pill called Relacore that specifically targets belly fat. Not sure about it, either. When I see the commercials I become skeptical that it's a gimmick and doesn't work, or it works so slowly, you spend hundreds of dollars before noticing a difference.

Pretty sure your problem is bloating. Try a pro-biotic regardless of whether you want to lose weight or not.

I'm going to try taking this for a week. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakult

I will tell you if it works.

I would recommend avoiding any diet pill, with the possible exception of Ali. Most of these are not tested, and a waste of $$$. Ali was actually approved by the FDA so it is the safest option if you are looking for something like that.

Honestly, What i have discovered after stepping on the scale during this past December and finding myself the heaviest I have EVER been is that I didn't get that way over night. Therefore, I won't loose it over night. There are no quick fixes that last. Starvation or any other trendy diet out there just put the weight back on. What has helped me is lifestyle changes. I have focused on one thing at a time, and don't get down on myself when I fail, just try to do better the next day. My first month I joined a gym, and made working out a habit, to the point where if I don't go, I get grumpy. Next month I tackled my sugar addiction, followed by white flour. Then I focused on fruits and veggies. I have lost 20 pounds doing this. Of course I had to catch the flu, spent almost 1.5 weeks in bed, and slipped on almost everything, so I'm back focusing on no sugar at the moment. Little changes do help.

If you want a good book to read, check out the Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno. One of the trainers recommended it to me. It had alot of good info in it about lifestyle changes, not fads.

You probably need to see a doctor and be evaluated for insulin resistance. Excessive belly fat is indicative of a problem with how your body utilizes insulin.

http://diabetes.webmd.com/guide/insulin ... e-syndrome

If you have insulin resistance, you will need to adjust your diet appropriately. Mainly a relatively low carb (not no carb) and low cholesterol diet, plus daily exercise to help normalize the production of insulin and other hormones, like estrogen.

If you can't afford to see a doctor, do as much research online about insulin resistance as you can, and focus on exercise and limiting carbs and cholesterol in your diet.

You may want ot look into Polycystic Ovarian syndrome too, which is related to insulin resistance:

I have the same thing, but I'm actually proud of my body type, so suggesting that I go on a diet would be counter productive.

Thanx folks. I think the day I started this thread I was having some really severe constipation. I'm trying to cure that now by drinking more water, taking more water, wearing lose pants etc. I still have quite the beer belly though from my college days but I think that should trim off naturally if I drink more water.

I dont like taking diet pills though. Vitamins and special drinks are fine. I get paranoid I may develop diabetes or a kidney stone from all of my terrible eating habits and I'm not even obese.
