Tomorrow morning I will start working at a dog kennel/cattery for a week, as part of completing/passing my Animal Care college course. In October when I was supposed to find a work placement to go to, I was on the verge of suicide and in no frame of mind to do so.
So now that I am loaded happy pills which have somewhat turned my frown upside-down, I have had a sort of confidence to volunteer to work elsewhere (the original choice being extra hours at college, which I have already done some of.) Basically, this is a challenge that I have set for myself, and I will do it!
I am nervous about it, since it will involve talking to girls a similar age to me (that work there), and having to deal with 20 dogs, all deafening me with their pain-inducing barks. But I like dogs anyways; I'll just have to put up with their barks. Also, there is a 2 hour break! I don't know what I'll do. I guess I'll have to find a corner somewhere and read a book.
Well, here goes...
