Why do I have to press the ''back'' button twice on WP?

This only happens on this site, all the other sites I just have to press the ''back'' button once, and it goes back.

Whenever I want to go back on WP, I always have to press it twice, so I've ended up just double-clicking this button to get it to go back once, but 2 times out of 10 it can go back when I press it once, so sometimes double-clicking makes it go back further than I wanted. It's really annoying and I wonder why it only does this on Wrong Planet. Well, I wonder why it does this at all. It's only a trivial thing, but I just wanted to know why, that's all, and I wanted to know if this does it on anyone else's computer when you're on Wrong Planet too.

Thanks.

It's not a bug, it's a feature

jokes aside, if you told us what operating system and browser(s) you used that could help, and also it'd help to know if that happens on one or more browsers.

btw, if you use IExplorer, change to Firefox.

No problem with Opera either. I surfed on IE a bit and it seems to be caused by the ads.

If you don't mind removing the ads, you can try this:
Internet Options → Security
click on "Restricted sites" to select the zone

click on "Sites" button

type these url and click "Add" (one by one):
*.2mdn.net
*.doubleclick.net
*.exponential.com
*.google-analytics.com
*.googleadservices.com
*.googlesyndication.com
*.quantserve.com
*.scorecardresearch.com
embed.technorati.com

Click the history button on IE and you'll see why.

Google Chrome doesn't have this problem, either.
