Hey,
I'm new here, I found this place when I was looking for my cousin to chat where this people that know what he's going through similarly, I'd like to meet someone that is 12-15 yrs old and lives near or in South Carolina.
We weren't "formally" told that he has aspergers but we are 99 percent sure. My aunt has been reading a book about it and I'm trying to learn more about it so I can atleast partially understand what he's going through.
So, anyways that's about it and I'll check back by here later, I'm going to search a few other places before I have to get off the computer for today.
Thanks,
SM

Welcome to WrongPlanet.

Hmmm?
What are your hobbies and interests?
What is your status, AS, Autism in general?
HFA? PDD-NOS? Hmmm?

Fascinating?

Um... I like art. Reading and writing books, swimming, playing with my collies, going to church, worshipping God, being with my friends. My cousin (he's like a brother), has asperger's, but we're only 99 percent sure... so... but it is nice meeting people here, and most of you guys are really nice, I'm glad I found this place, I've already made friends with fionaban, she is awesome, and a few other people.

:P God is my life, if He wasn't, I wouldn't be.

How has your experience been so far?
I do realize you only recently arrived,
but first impressions are guiding tools,
not absolutes, and regardless a guiding
tool is a guiding tool :D

Hi SM,

Welcome to wrongplanet. I hope that you like it here. I'm a bit old for that age range at 24, but I could definitely suggest some good AS-related books and resources for learning more about it.
