Any parents have experience with Focalin xr for ADHD?

Hello,

My son was prescribed Focalin XR for his ADHD, he took his first dose this AM and I got a call from the school around noon that he had thrown up several times. He threw up again in the office when I arrived but has been fine ever since he got home. He told me that he never wants to take a pill again I spoke to the nurse who said that I could give him "half doses" for the next few days to get his system used to the drug.

I am very nervous and upset because I do not want my little guy to feel ill. He does not like taking the pills and had a very hard time swallowing them. I had to put it in some chocolate pudding to get him to take it this morning.

I am just really nervous and could use some support and advice.
