Parts of words, backwards words, do they make a new word?
Here's my idea just for random fun:
Step 1. Try to think of a word, and then take part of it, and see if it spells anything other than what it already is.
Step 2. This is actually an extension or variation of Step 1: Take your part of a word, and spell the word part in backwards order (but don't reverse the letters indiviually unless it helps you read the word). Does it spell something else new? Does it sound close to any other word you know, by being off by one or two letters?
Here's my original word: Evolve
Here I take the first part of the word: Evol
It sounds like "Evil"
If I flip the "Evol", it spells "Love"!
Is that cool, even if it's a challenge?
Does anyone else have words they can use with my "make a new word" game?
Have fun!
