If you could invite five fictional characters to dinner, who would they be and why? Mine would be:

1. Death of the Endless, because she's gorgeous and has an excellent personality.

2. Atticus Finch, because he's a legend who more people should aspire to be like.

3. Gandalf, because he was my favourite LOTR character when I was younger.

4. The Eleventh Doctor, because he is my Doctor; quirky and compassionate.

5. Vash the Stampede, because I like his ideals.

Who would you invite to dinner?

1. Glinda the Good (Start off with something sweet).

2. Thuvia, Maid of Mars (If even bodiless spider-demons want her, she's gotta be HAWT!).

3. Wlllow Rosenberg (from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" - I think she's cute).

4. Nyota Uhura (Open hailing frequencies and prepare to be boarded!).

5. Mrs. Robinson (Is she seducing me ... ?).

1. Tarrant Hightopp, the Mad Hatter (Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland) - I find him very cute and he seems like a fun person to be around when his madness isn't acting up.

2. Willy Wonka (Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) - He's really funny, and cute too.

3. Edward Scissorhands - He's very sweet and gentle. I would hand-feed him since his scissor-hands make it hard for him to eat (I've always wondered why, in the movie during the dinner scene, nobody helped him eat when he was obviously struggling)

4. Pinkie Pie (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) - She's my current favorite out of the Main Six. I love how cheerful and energetic she is. She reminds me a little of the Mad Hatter.

5. Fluttershy (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) - Like Edward, she is very sweet and gentle. But I think I would have trouble getting her to come to dinner, since she is so, well, shy. Maybe she'd come if I promised her that she could play with my cat.

Lucian the librarian from The Sandman graphic novel series. I feel we may have much to talk about regarding my unfinished novels. (Anyone from The Sandman, really.)

The Eleventh Doctor - He's my Doctor. 10 was my first, but 11 is my Doctor. (Now where'd I put the fish fingers and custard?)

Anyone from the Big Bang Theory, though if it's Sheldon, I'll have to Leonard help provide for his very picky tastes. (I'm sure it's in the Roommate Agreement somewhere.)

Spock. From the 2009 film, as, unlike the writer(s?) for the film, I don't want to pull Original Series Spock from his timeline and completely mess up the timeline from Kirk's birth onward! (Plus I think he's cute)

Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I find myself rather intrigued by him.

(Now that would be quite a dinner party.

1~ Carly Shay from iCarly because I love her  I'd hide an engagement ring in her food
:drunken:

2~ Kat from Victorious because she'd be my 2nd choice if Carly rejects me.

3~ Peter Griffin from Family Guy because it would be one wacky meal  \

4~ Jay Sherman from The Critic because I kind of relate to him in some ways & i think it would be a good guy to have over.

5~ Jeff Dunham's puppet Peanut. I cant explain why just like I cant explain Peanut

1. Jareth, from Jim Henson's Labyrinth. He's my biggest crush.

2. The Doctor, either the 10th or the 4th. Although I'd prefer the 10th. Brilliant, a little wild, and a loyal friend.

3. Elrond, from LOTR. I'd probably end up asking him to adopt me. Whenever my real dad is being . . . well, I won't get into that, but sometimes I close my eyes and imagine what it would be like having Elrond for a father instead, and it helps. I even tried to send a letter to Hugo Weaving thanking him for that, but I got the address wrong and it came back unopened. Oh well.

4 and 5. Samantha Carter and Ba'al, from Stargate SG1. I love the interactions between those two. Their enemies, but when they work together they're almost friends. And Ba'al is hot.

Anne Shirley (Anne of green Gables) She would be a good dinner guest.

Emily (Corpse bride) she's sweet.

Alana (The Girl from Tomorrow) she could talk about how the world is in the year 3000.

Sharon(Kath & kim) she could have a break from Kim bossing her around.

Katrina (Bangkok Hilton) she could tell everyone what happened when she escaped the jail.

Luna Lovegood: she's my favorite character from the harry potter books.

Winrey Rockbel: (Fullmetal Alchemist) She's just obsessed with machines as I am.

House: I'd like to know what he thinks of me.

Osaka ( Azumanga Diaoh) and Ed (Cowboy Bebop): Because they're just so weird, which I think is awesome! :)

Cthulhu: The very god of chaos and would make the party. . .well chaotic.
Gollum: My favorite character off of Lord of the Rings. He would also make the part crazy.
Ed (Ed, Edd, n Eddy): Dumb as a pile of rocks and random enough to lift up houses and fly! Again, would make a crazy party.
Soldier (TF2): Fought in World War 2 until 1949 when he found out that the war had been over. He also has an inaccurate story of Sun Tzu. But who cares? He's insane and has a rocket launcher!
Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde: Classic example of craziness.

Yes, I basically want a party that tears the whole place down!

Great reply Oaglor! I was originally going to invite Sauron from Lord of the Rings because I thought it would be funny to see a disembodied force of evil doing something ordinary like having dinner with friends. I went with Gandalf though because he is my favourite character.

Mines would be:

1. The Eleventh Doctor
2. Wilmarth
3. Dyre(though we would not have jelly for dessert-Because of shoggoths, you know.)
4. Zaphod Beeblebrox (Not to be given anything that has alcohol or caffeine in it, as well as drugs.)
5. Shaun (from Shaun of the Dead)

It would probably end up with Zaphod getting to some beer, Shaun getting so drunk he starts to make techno noises, and the rest all talking about Metaphysics and other such things. Still, it would be pretty fun.
