The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and its sequels - specifically the Swedish movies. I haven't seen the Hollywood movie version and I didn't like the way the book was written.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - the movie version. I haven't read the comic book version.

Cartoons (specifically My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Adventure Time and Regular Show)

i realized when i was a kid that i had better concentration by playing chess. you know, when you are so focused on something that your surroundings disappear, literally. can't hear, can't see can't think of anything else. my mother also told be that i was often subtlely rocking back an fourths when i was playing chess.

To relax I enjoy doing crossword puzzles and even have a crossword dictionary. Since I work full time and study for an online master's degree doing crossword puzzles as well as jogging or yoga helps me to relax and unwind. Usually I am fairly good at crosswords and can finish the one in USA Today without the use of a crossword dictionary.
