I think being Athiest and being spiritual do not have to be seperate concepts. I am an Athiest but I consider myself to be spiritual, and I have experienced what I believe to be spiritual.

My personal choice is Atheism with some Taoist philosophy (just the philosophy part, not the misticism). Works for me. Try buying the I-Ching, it's well worth the price. It has been kind of my bible for years when I have a difficult day :)
