It's getting dark now
and soon all the lights will be turned out for the night
Please tell me there's a light on somewhere
A light that burns for me so bright
When my inner light is extinguished
And as gone and out of sight
As the last murmur of a passing train.

Please tell me there's a light on
Somewhere in this darkest of dreams
In this most black of journeys
Please leave a light on
Now all the lights have been turned out for the night.

I like that. It is very apt. Nice words.
