Cars that are solar powered. Also cars that are hydrogen powered.

Have you mentioned that before pizzaboss? Because I just totally got deja-vu... I'm freaking out here!

A natural power car.

The outward design is pretty much like a regular car although sleeker. The whole of the upper bodywork is made of solar panels to collect solar energy (nothing very revolutionary there).

However, the front grill is replaced with a fairly large encased fan about three feet across which is attached to a wind turbine to collect wind power.

The power is stored in large batteries under the bonnet which can also be charged up by plugging the car in on the rare occasions you need to.

The whole thing looks something like the 1950's batmobile in design.

Here is how it works:

It is basically an electric car which runs on energy from the batteries.

The solar energy or stored eletricity would be enough to get the car moving.

Once it is up to speed the wind turbine also kicks in as the fan starts to spin.

The beauty of the wind turbine is that the faster the car goes the greater the wind resistance is and therefore the fan turns faster to provide the energy exactly at the time it is needed.

This is my idea.

What would be good is if I could invent an invisible force shield around me. I hate people intruding on my privacy.

I am trying to rig up a Rowing shell that has a counterweight which moves in the opposite direction of the person moving back and forth on the sliding seat. This might add some weight but would effectively eliminate the up and down bobbing effect on the hull. This should improve the hydrodynamics and possibly increase speed. The only drawback is that it is added weight and could slow the boat down too.

Lawnmower Bed...for those of us who are too lazy to get up before noon on Saturdays, but still want a lush well trimmed lawn. The main drawback to this one is that you would need to install a ramp to move it from bedroom to lawn and back.

Liquid Butter...for those of us who love buttered toast, but can't use regular butter without putting holes in the bread

Electiric cooling blanket for home use...I hate to sweat when I sleep.

and last but not least, I would love a way to download the internet directly into my brain...maybe someday

My invention would be a car with microturbines (size of quarter/dime) that would all be attached to a generator. Since these turbines are so small and numerous, I could have the car computer only run as many as needed and pushing the gas petal would activate more modular banks of turbines. This would be the most efficent transfer of energy (gearboxes are way too inefficent for a single large turbine engine) and if the turbine banks are installed in a modular fashion, I think that it would make repair extremly easy to the point even a carowner would be able to replace defectives. And the computer would be able to know when one was dying and subistiute another one for it. This car would be far more powerful than a "traditional" hybird and get similar fuel milage.

I think the same thing could be done with supertankers (with larger turbines?)

well, I meant a hydrocarbon fuel of some sort. biodiesel, particulary.

I would like a machine that can go against Newton's laws of thermodynamics.
