learning the benefits of bring a computer into class

I've been recently finding out that bringing my laptop into class to take notes to be an excellent idea. I can actually write faster on the keyboard then pen, it allows me to organize my notes better, it's allows me to add extra things easier, and I can file everything really neatly. Also with a built in mic on my computer I can also record the lectures on Audacity saving them as Mp3's to review parts of lectures i miss. Most work professors assign have to be used on the computer anyway. I also find it's the benefit of being able to go on the internet at any time a benefit too like when a teacher asks a question that people can't answer and having wikipedia on hand. i also find it helps me through boring times like right now when the professor is talking about pointless things not on the test which makes the class a whole lot more excitiing. All in all, I would recommend bring a lap top to class if you have one.
