Well my roommate will start her own masters soon and it was brought to my attention that what you take for bachelor's does not affect at all what you get your masters in. She has an AA in IT and working on her BSD/IT DBA but wants her masters in psychology.

Well I have an AA In business and im AA on my bachelor's in small business management. I can do the work load (except for the math, I SUCH at the math, always have, always will) and I understand the material fairly well. I have been involved with the subject for quite some time. But it does not mean its a topic I absolutely love. I like it, and I love Marketing in specific but I am not sure I would want a master's in this field.

I think I want my masters to be related to at least part of my special interests. It is the only masters I am going to get so I am thinking about this really hard.

I love history but I am terrible with dates and I only like European history at that. I love literature and art, but only certain periods. My other interests are a bit less . .. easy to relate to an academic environment such as music (I can sing well, very well, but I can't play instruments) certain genres of movies, books and items.

I want a masters that I can RELATE to. Not sure how to proceed. I know its not like, right around the corner. I have a few more semesters to go until then, but I want to think this through before the time comes.

Hopefully you'll find the job you want after your masters. Hopefully that job won't bring you pain, misery and suffering, but that's doubtful as that is what jobs do.

I would be perfeclty content working alone in an office all day, with papers or what not, or books. I have thought of actually taking an on-line teaching possition, I would need at least a masters to work with UOP. That would be nice.

I'm not sure what the job market is like, but have you considered getting a Master of Library Science?
