well basically, im getting an iep sorted for me at school. and i get to input, ie i get to say some of the stuff thats going on it. this is what i know so far:
 i have to sit at the back of the room, with no one behind me
 i have to sit next to a wall
 i must be able to see the door from where i am sat

i want to put something in about computer rooms, as i go crazy in the places, all the tapping of computer keys, and about being able to leave the room when i need to, and also about being able to listen to music, as it calms me down. two questions:
 how can i phrase these?
 is there anything else that you have at school/would like to have/to have had that would help you tremendously

thanks :colors:

With the noises in computer rooms, would it help if you could use headphones to listen to music?

yeah, probably, but i would like to be able to listen to it all the time, not just coz i want to, but because it keeps me calm and blocks out surrounding noise from the class and stuff

You get input in your IEP? You are so, unbelievably lucky. I cannot emphasize that enough. I have asked many times, tried going through parents and my school, and still no luck. I haven't been allowed to attend a single one of my PPTs(Planning and Placement Team) meetings, and no one wants to tell me anything. I didn't even know what an IQ test was until I was halfway through WISC IV. Use your influence. Don't ask for anything ridiculous, I'd advise trying to make it so you can change it at a week's notice anytime.
