Shame on Scotland
Man with Asperger's and his mum flee to spain:

Police are hunting for a 69 years old mother and her 50-year-old who has Asperger’s. They fled from Scotland to Spain, because going on the run was the only was to keep the son off the desctructive Zombie drugs he was forced to take.
In Scotland the system can force you to take drugs and lock you into a hospital against your will. Leaving the country can be the only way to survive as an Aspie. Well, I thought France was hell ... Scotland seems to be its northern outpost.

Notwithstanding the fact that the Record is hardly known for accurate and high quality reporting, it does say that he was diagnosed with schizophrenia two years ago, and that he on medication for that, contrary to what the headline says.
They live not too far from me, and I think I might know people who know them, so if I hear anything more, I'll post it here.

Scotland is not some backward country, with outdated ideas on mental illness, etc. People can be detained, in a psychiatric hospital, against their will, but on the grounds of protecting them from danger to themselves or to other people. This is the same as in most developed nations. I worked in this field and, if a person is to be detained for more than a few weeks, there has to be a court ruling, supported by reports from a variety of sources, including two psychiatrists. It's a very big deal and not done lightly and without absolute necessity. The Daily Record is guilty of making outlandish claims, without any substance.

In the US, you can commit someone for 72 hours against their will without a court order.
There might be more to this storytoo.

Maybe the UK has to stop the Mental health from interfering with autisim ,because they really do'nt have experience to treat people with Autisim..i have been misdiagnosed because of lack of experienced docotors who do'nt have a clue about Autisim..it took them 2yrs and a very experienced profesor in London that diagnosed my problem in a day to put right a good few yrs in Mental health with a bunch of idiot doctors who don't know there arse from their elbow about Autisim....and drug you up to the point of sleeping 18hrs a day..so i understand what this lady is going through..and still with Mental health today as they have no one to deal with aspergers in the UK..its a how you doing today! and see you next time without a clue about your daily torture..makes me sick!
I was admited under the Mental health act for a suiside attempt a few yrs ago...and they never identified my problem for TWO YRS and i went through torture with the Mental health system in the UK and still today am forced to stay with them as they have no one in Herts in the UK that can support me in any way.
just went to a CPA meeting to be told what do you think we can do for you!
Get me the right people to help me over come my total misery with this condition. but sadly they have no one to help so its just get on with your LIFE WHO REALLY GIVES A DAM ANYWAY..we ARE MENTAL HEALTH DOCTORS sadly ![]()
