Help please........ how do you type a signature using HTML?

I want to add a signature to my posts but it says to type it using HTML. What does that mean? Thanks.

You simply type whatever you want in the signature box. (Providing that it is within site rules.)

I'm not entirely sure, but I think actual HTML coding will do nothing if placed in a signature.

Is it over 255 characters?

If so, that is why, if not, i'm not sure what the problem is.

You need to set your profile to include the signature. If you have already made some posts with the box unticked at the bottom of the message before you post that too will stop a sig appearing.
