Hocus Pocus: I really can't understand why I like this movie. I mean basically the film justifies the way Salem murdered innocent women they accused of witchcraft by making real witches, which in my opinion would be like a film justifying the way Nazis killed Jews, but for some reason I love the film. I guess it's because I have a thing for sorcerers and magick, even if it's the stereotyping kind.

Gracie's Choice: I usually hate Lifetime movies, it's always "I'm not leaving town without my daugher I have a brain tumor, and don't hit me you have a drinking problem", but this film was different. I really did enjoy the story about a girl who managed to save her family from being put in the system and in the end I actually felt happy for the characters in the end. I guess because I've seen so many families get torn apart by addict parents.

Batman Forever: Probably my guiltiest pleasure of all, I don't watch it for Batman, I watch it cause I think the muscular dumb thugs with ski masks and leather jackets are hot. :oops:

Commando (1985) - Arnold's cheesiest movie, but I have to watch it every couple of years for the famous one-liners. and to laugh at the obvious goofs (example: When Matrix holds Sully over the cliff with his 'weak' arm, you can see the rope holding his leg for a brief second).

Xanadu (1980) - I saw this movie a couple of years ago for the first time since I saw it in the theater. Still awesomely bad, but Olivia Newton-John is finer than a frog's hair in this movie, and the soundtrack is still great (especially the ELO songs).

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985) - Saw this in a packed movie theater when it first came out, and it was the most fun I'd ever had in a movie theater. I watch it every 2-3 years. Still funny after all the crap Paul Reubens has been through.

The Wedding Singer, Corpse Bride, Moulin Rouge, and Jane Austen movies. This is a strange list, I know; it's of movies I've been mocked for watching by my family, so they've become guilty pleasures.

Now I get it... I think any movie I watch where my husband says, "You're watching that again?" starts to tip over into guilty pleasure. But ones I watch solely for the mush are already there... like Some Kind of Wonderful.
