I'm not sure this is 100% accurate -- I work better with deadlines, yes, but that doesn't mean I manage to meet them all of the time.

The part about tasks needing to be precisely laid out and unambiguous made me laugh out loud though -- so very true! If you give me guidelines, they better cover ANY question that might come up, or prepare for a catalogue of questions later on.
