Yes. I love Monty Python. My dad got the whole series with 7 discs of bonus material for Christmas. I have yet to watch it. I've seen a lot of the series but I haven't seen all of it. One thing I like better about Monty Python in comparison to other sketch comedy shows is that it is more intellectual. It has references to European art film and famous writers and artists. For example, 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' is in many ways a parody of the imagery in Ingmar Bergman's 'The Seventh Seal'

I'm not sure if I'm a fan of Monty Python, but I surely enjoy some of the things they have done. I especially like the one with the Knight. Say NI! :-)

I knew a kid in high school who enjoyed Mony Python, and that got me to watch a few episodes, but haven't watched in a while.

And we had to watch Holy Grail in English class once, but never finished it.

Sniveling Little Rat-Face Git.

I mean, I like that one. And the Oscar Wilde sketch, the one with Wilde, Whistler, and Shaw.

And of course, the four Yorkshiremen.

The Argument Clinic has to be my favorite sketch from Flying Circus. My favorite line: "Shut your festering gob you tit, your type makes me puke, you vacuous, toffee-nosed, malodorous pervert!" I died laughing!

I am obsessed with Monty Python. I have a huge collection of things to do with them. I am 18 and most of my friends know the sketches too - I hope Python cult will never die.

Life of Brian - 5 copies (3xVHS,DVD,blu-ray)
Holy Grail - 2 copies (VHS, DVD)
Meaning of Life - 3 copies (2xVHS, DVD)
Something Completely Different (DVD)
Hollywood Bowl (DVD)
Parrot Sketch not Included (VHS)
Series 2 Ep 1-4 (VHS)
Best of...Flying Circus vol 1 (not boxset DVD)
Best of...Flying Circus, Live at Aspen - 2 copies (both VHS and DVD boxsets)
Personal Bests (DVD boxset)
Complete Flying Circus (Series 1-4 DVDs)

Brand New Monty Python Bok - original 1970s
Brand New Monty Python Papperbok (actually the same thing :P)
Big Red Book
A4 Autobiography copy (with loads of pics :D)
Complete scripts to Flying Circus book
Holy Grail script - original 1975
Very Best of Monty Python book
Monty Python: Flying Circus to Spamalot book
Spamalot London tickets and programme
Spamalot coconuts
Spamalot t-shirt
He's Not The Messiah t-shirt
Copy of Marketing week magazine with John Cleese doing silly walk
Posters
Songs on iPod

Not sure thats even everything...I collect anything to do with Monty Python. I would like the original vinyl records but my attention span isn't long enough to look through records in charity shops. And my dad would probably kill me. I have several copies of the films because they are on different formats and have different sleeve art. Obsessive I know.
I practically know the scripts off by heart.
Fave film is Life of Brian closely followed by Holy Grail.
Fave sketch is French Aviation experts/Upperclass Twit/Bruce and many more

You're talking to her. I have a friend in high school who was also a fan and turned me on to Monty Python after he recommended that I watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which I thought was hilarious. So far, I've watched all the episodes, and my favorite skits are The Lumberjack Song and Spam!

You bet! :D

If I were not in the C.I.D., something else I'd like to be! If I were not in the C.I.D., a window-cleaner, me! With a rub-a-dub-dub and scrub-a-dub-dub and a rub-a-dub all day long! With a scrub-a-dub-dub and a rub-a-dub-dub I'd sing this merry song!
