Three-way fracture to the shoulder (humerus) that came close to a shoulder replacement put paid to my high speed adrenaline adventures. I never was into motorised speed but a good sand dune on a bit of board does wonders other than the abrupt halt that followed.
These days I do kayak fishing and get out a good distance out into the deep blue sea which is a rush.
