 I am currently failing 4 classes (AP English, AP Math, Astronomy, and Economics), I know the material but I struggle with organization and remembering assignments and due dates.

Our Spring Show is holding auditions in 3 weeks, and if we are failing more than 1 class, we are ineligible. I need to be in the show, otherwise I'd have no motivation to keep up grades or even stay in class.

My teachers are too busy to help, my case manager doesn't do anything anymore, and the head of my schools special ed department refuses to talk to me. Its always "i'll talk to you later" but later never happens.

My family is even worse, I really dont know what to do. I cant get this done by myself but no one helps me.

First rule of special ed depts.: Do everything in writing, and that includes asking them whether they take sugar in their coffee.

Why put everything important in writing? Every time you put pen to paper you create a legal document.

I therefore recommend that you put in a printed form (or email would be even better) a document setting out what difficulties you are having, and how the school might help you overcome those difficulties.

Do it as soon as possible.

Give them one half-day from receipt, and then follow it up with a phone call.

If you get no joy from that, write again (in stronger terms).

Keep at it. I've been in a similar situation to yours and it was nightmarish.

And if you suffer a crisis of confidence over any of the above, remember:

1) It's your career that's suffering
2) It's their actual FREAKING JOB to help you

Good luck1

Contact a higher-up on the board of education or whatever at your school/district who has control and might help?

For the more pressing issue, I'm assuming you keep an assignment book of when everything is due?

Oh believe me I've tried, but it's never helped.

I just don't know what to do, my mind feels so numb, and my school laptop just broke.

This may not look nice, but I put a LOT OF NOTES everywhere. Often, the same one. I set alarms, multiple ones, on my phone. If I go on the computer, I also set alarms and sometimes even my background. I am getting a dry erase board and I might even give myself stickers to make sure I get things done. I'm going to start doing what I used to do: label EVERYTHING. If I have homework, I put it in the "UNFINISHED HOMEWORK" pile. Now, this especially sucks because the people who are supposed to help you aren't! I agree with what everyone else said. Go to the bosses, get stuff in writing, and bug the crap out of them. It's their job to help you do your job. God, I hate lazy people.... (not you, I meant them...)
