Done good and then start getting complaints

Has anyone ever done good at their work and then all of a sudden they start getting complaints about their job from customers or from their bosses or co workers?

I have worked as a janitor for my company for three years now and ever since we got a new boss because the other one quit, I have started to get complaints now about the basement. I wonder how did this happen. Why are people complaining all of a sudden? Did I get worse or what? Has this sort of thing ever happened to anyone? Now I can understand what the previous guy meant when he told me "you will see" regarding the showers when that task was handed to me because he was having troubles with it. I never got complaints about it before, only a few times but after the new boss, I seemed to be getting them constantly.

So my boss finally decided to switch tasks and now I will no longer be working in the locker rooms and showers and I will be cleaning the restrooms on two upper floors.

Sounds like the new boss has different expectations than the old one. That can be a difficult thing to deal with, but one thing you could try is asking him straight up what he expects.

It's not the boss, it's the customers. She gets faxes from the building with a complaint on it from customers.

I can understand what you going through, right now the place where I work is for a hospital doing housekeeping and lately the management over my department there was one manager who quit and ever since then the whole management has been up in turmoil, now its to the point where I get called to the office for the most smallest things, also theres other people in my department that are getting harassed from management it seems like they are targeting certain people, its almost as if they are trying to get certain people to quit so they can clean house.
