Why cant I post YouTube vids anymore?

I disappeared for the holidays & I tend to stick to certain sections when I am here so maybe I missed something. There is no code for YouTube anymore in section where you can insert URL, images, quotes & when I type in the code manually like [youtube]vid link here[/youtube] none of the vids I try posting show up as vids. I think I seen others posting vids recently but I no longer have the ability to.

I know from experience that if you use the code given by YouTube for sharing, that doesn't work. What I do is take the URL from my browser address bar and use that instead. I also manually insert that address to this forum like this......

I use FireFox & it's not there anymore & the vids don't show up when I type the code in manually or if I quote someone who psted a vid.

Switch to Chrome, or reinstall Firefox. You are probably using some browser add-on that is blocking it from showing up

Thanx Max. I never used Chrome but heard some things about it that I don't like. I uninstalled adblocker & then the option for YouTube showed up but the vids still wouldn;t. I uninstalled FF, typed in FireFox & did a search on my comp & deleted the folders after, then looked for registry strings & deleted a couple, then reinstalled FireFox. Some YouTube vids show up now but not others for some odd reason but at least some work.
