I've noticed on some of the other forums I've been on, I've been able to add people to a list of friends. Since this forum seems to be PHPBB-based, do you think that would be possible at all? There are a few members on here whose posts I like reading, and it would be nice if I could just pull up a list of them.

If not, I can sort of understand why. :D

The forum software in its current state is no longer being developed and it's very unlikely that further features will be added.

But, you can still make an equivalent of a friend list by clicking on a member's avatar, then on the "Find all posts by ..." link on the profile window that appears.
The page displayed, showing all posts with the most recent at the top, can now be bookmarked like any other web page and each time you access it you'll be up-to-date with that member's posts.

Unfortunately this is subject to some irritating bugs: the error "Could not delete old search id sessions" is often displayed when trying to fetch a post listing.
If that happens, click your browser's "Page Refresh/Reload" button to try again - sometimes, several times...

You might want to fix your link. ;) I looked it up though, and I can see now why it would be relevant to my situation.

British way of saying what Americans call "Murphy's Law" - not sure if there are other designations

In other words "what can go wrong will go wrong". I've also heard Americans say "s**t happens"

"s**t happens" is pretty much my personal philosophy on life. "Why did the chicken cross the road?" "s**t happens." :P
