I graduated in 2010 with a BA in Mass Communications (bad fit, but took it because I liked movies and tv), and ended up with 2.7 gpa. I mean their are reasons I may have not done as well, depression, adjusting to college life, laziness, lack of motivational), but I just feel if my mental abilities were really good, I would have done better. I've thought about going back to school (stuck with jobs that don't offer a path to the long term careers I was looking for) . A lot of people in the educational forums keep recommending to me settle for trade school and community college programs that don't always fit my interests, which tells me they don't have a high opinion of my intellect either.

Anyone else I meant.

Your making a huge mistake our society makes today.

Trade School and Community College do not equal stupid. No one is putting down your intellect by suggesting these options. Most people who graduate with a degree don't have the time and money to invest in getting another 4 year degree right away,.

Community college or trade school can offer a path to a different career that is more affordable and less time consuming than a second bachelors.
