I find it ridiculous that you have to go online to find the local forecast as the weather channel never shows local weather. When before it used to work as it should, down to your area code, now it says; "local on the 8's'... then goes straight to Maine. I don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't be farther from Maine.

They need to change the name of the station as weather-it-is-not.

My fav thing about this channel... back when it did produce 'local on the 8's'... legitimately. Or not as I have since proved. More than once the station said "Currently clear and calm"... when outside it was thunder/lightning and hail, I kid you not. Somebody forgot to update it, probably for months.. or years. Ridiculous.

The Weather Channel tried to charge more for lower quality "weather" information. They also fired many of their meteorologists. Hopefully Weather Nation Channel will learn from this and stay all weather 24/7.

I usually only go on The Weather Network's website. There I can see what the weather forecast is for where I live right away, and they say not only what the current temperature is but what it basically actually feels like to most people, and I don't have to sit through ten minutes of commercials and other boring things between reports. There's also a daily poll or trivia question on the website but you will not believe how much trolling there is. I also hate how the site constantly tells us how we're all doomed because of climate change, that things like coffee beans and people with red hair will go extinct, and they make a mild drizzle sound like the next Hurricane Katrina.
