Does anyone know of a good scholarship program for people with Autism that might be beneficial?

I'm trying to look for one myself, but in a Ph.D program. It's maddening to me as it seems other people seem to know resources I don't. All others I asked said they either got paid by their parents (no starter for me there) or took out loans (another no-starter: I have undergraduate loans and paid for my masters so I wouldn't add to my debt.)

I'm sure there must be something for a scholarship for someone on the spectrum. A lot of people are overwhelmed by the social scene on campus and never finish school. There must be increasing awareness about this. My old school is now trying to make a program to accomodate people on the spectrum. Heck, even thinking about it, I wonder if my old school has scholarships for such people. You might want to check with your school as well.

Please, I need scholarships as so far I've gotten a rejection letter for all the scholarships my brother got and I don't want to be turned out on the streets because I run out of monies during school. Arggggggg.

Here's a link to one. It can be used for transition programs as well as college. There is one scholarship that high functioning people can apply for, and another that low functioning people can apply to.

I can't speak to scholarships that specifically target Autism, but why limit yourself. There are a lot of scholarships and grants out there. Check out the FAFSA website:

https://fafsa.ed.gov/

There are a lot of different grants out there too - they are not all worth a lot of money, but every penny counts. Check with the specific school you are going to attend and see what they have available.
