New Zombie Series In the Flesh-Link.

If you've ever wondered what a socially responsible zombie series looks like, In the Flesh, has cured zombies as a metaphor for various persecuted groups in Britain. The bad guys are the equivalent of the BNP. This show is the antithesis of everything I criticise the Walking Dead for. Even the main villain is killed in order to prevent him from harming others, and not out of any sense of vengeance or blood lust. At some point the Americans will develop this and turn it into something crypto-fascist like the Walking Dead, but in the mean time the original series is up on youtube:

Well the genre certainly has come a long way. I remember when it was mainly about scaring the **** out of you. :lol:

But I just saw something that sounds along this line, but just a single movie. It was called 'The Returned'. It was pretty good.
