I was very sorry that happened too, even though I realize it could have been so much worse. I wish it had never happened, but at the same time I am so proud of them. They really bucked the trend of retreating into hate and anger, and just demanding revenge like people so often do. And they didn't resort to trivialities and platitudes. They are dealing with it the hard way, and it creates some real inspiration for me. Makes me want to go back to grad school.

Wow, you were taught by someone semi famous.
Yes I was!

I suppose I knew he was semi-famous at the time, too, but I didn't suspect Krabo would have heard of him. It makes sense the more I think about it.
I think I'm actually surrounded by semi-famous people, many of whom I've met lately. Which is funny, because when I was younger I was used to thinking of my life as being not very interesting. But looking back now, I would have to say a lot more has happened and I have a lot more stories to tell.
One person whom I have *not* met is Bill Gates, although he lives very near by.
