youtube issues

All the youtube links on here just show as white boxes for me...anyone any ideas why?
I watched them ok when I was on the site itself.

IE7...alas, it came with my new laptop along with damn Vista.

Have you always had this problem with your new laptop, or did it start recently? If you've always had it, can you view flash animations on other sites? If not, installing flash might help. I found some information on that here.

If you don't like IE7, a different browser might be a good idea. I've got absolutely no experience with Vista, so I can't really make any suggestions with regards to that, but I did find some information that said Firefox wasn't running as smoothly as it had on XP. (Info here.) Opera might work, but that's just me guessing at this point.

It's probably up to date, but
you should make certain. IE7
is still not really stable, unfortunately.

They're passing it off as such, but
are continually making changes which
effect this board, for some reason.

It did not have the issue with the browser until tonight... it is a nightmare as I havent done anything I can think of that might cause it other than download an update for vista to help with VPN issues and download some active x addon to assist with validating to get that download. The net issues didnt start until 2 days in. I got on fine using the Laptop's wi fi for the first couple of nights. I dont know what I have done wrong here...

IE automatically will update though. Unless you've specifically told it not to.
