WP loading very slowly

Hi,

I'm wondering what's going on with the loading speed of WP for the last few days or so. I haven't been getting that annoying "checking your browser" message but the loading speed has become very slow. I thought it was my computer but both my computer and mobile are loading very slowly and other sites are actually loading as fast as before. So it must be WP. The page sometimes doesn't even load fully. Sometimes it does load fast though. Is it going to be fixed?

Occasionally a page loads at normal speed, sometimes it takes 10 seconds, and often it is taking up to a minute.

That's why I haven't been here much, I don't have the patience for that. I would love to know why, this is the first time I've had these problems.

Thanks, Moomingirl! I was starting to wonder if it was only happening to me. Now I know it's not just me but I still wonder if other people are also experiencing it. As I said before, I haven't seen that annoying "checking your browser" page since this problem started.

Yeah, I'm running out of patience, too. I still browse and post on WP because I use my computer for other purposes and have WP open as well. Sometimes I just start doing something else on the computer because it's just too slow.

It's been loading just fine when I use Chrome, but I notice it lags when I use Firefox.
