This is a thread about moments that shocked you on TV.

I've seen people joke about this scene because of Riker's bad costuming, but I find it disturbing. This alternate Riker has just as much legitimacy as the Riker we know. If the Many-World's interpretation of quantum mechanics is true, a similar playing out of worst case scenario's is happening for our alternates, as well.

It's not for nothing that I don't like the many world interpretation.
