This is going nowhere . Talking about using buses railroads routes is like trying to talk about the advantages of procedural programming would people bringing up bad programming languages like C and Pascal.

And if buses replaced them, the UK bus system would be inadequately funded and poorly managed in addition to inefficient and polluting.

Trains will always be more practical for most public transportation issues in Europe since their maintenance is a lot more manageable and they require less space for travel.

It is scientifically possible for buses to be electric and if deemed necessary, we can bring back trolley buses.

And as for the road, the framework, would not need as much maintenance and safety checks as tracks.

What are you talking about? Electricity doesn't get lost due to limited conductivity... Do you understand the concepts of electricity?

Anyway, trains are infinitely more efficient because they have less friction between the tracks and the wheels.

Yes, you pass electricity though a metals thing and you get less at the other end. Better conductive metal have less of this problem.

Trains can carry lots of people, and travel very quickly. They are good when you don't feel like travelling in a humid car, and getting in traffic jams, and you don't tend to get sick in a train, with the exception of some really fast, tilting trains.

The UK needs more railways, and public transport should be made cheaper. Perhaps shorter train rides could be reduced to the price of a typical bus ticket.

The idea that the baby must be thrown out with the bathwater is highly distressing.

My mistake is saying buses, because when think of buses they think buses must also travel with private transport like cars and trucks; buses must always use conventional technology like diesel; buses cannot be longer then a conventional coach and buses must always have more frequent stops then trains.

Should I have said trolleybuses instead., at least that way people cannot jump to assumption that I am thinking ABOUT CONVENTIONAL BUSES ON CONVENTIONAL ROAD ! !! !! !!

LOOK AT THE PICTURE BELOW. SEE THAT RED THING!! ! IT IS CALLED A BUS LANE. IF ANY CAR GOES IT THE CAR IS ELECTROCUTED INSTANTANEOUSLY.This happens so that the buslane is kept free at all times. HOWEVER BEFORE ONE JUMPS TO ANOTHER ASSUMPTION. When it goes on to roads, THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY RAILROAD( Like Norbey, East Croydon, and Victoria, THE WHOLE OF THE *** IS RED, SO ONLY TROLLY BUSES CAN TRAVEL ON IT.
