I was looking into places to post a new thread (more or less curious on statistics of inheriting ASD), but I honestly cannot figure out the proper place to put it. Going to the Adult section, I stumbled across this thread, and I have to agree with it. Most of the topics in the Adult section are about the "slang" meaning of the word Adult, not the literal meaning of it. Anything that requires you to be of a certain age seems to be here, but nothing outside of that. Mostly X-rated things like gambling, getting drunk, sexual content, etc, not to mention the description for that forum is for things "beyond the scope of family appropriate topics". So that's not a good place for it.
Looking into the Parent's Discussion, the description reads it's a good place to discuss topics relating to "parenting children". Looking into statistics isn't parenting children, so that's not it.
Love and Dating? Used to discuss "relationships and romance." Nope.
Women's Discussion? "This is a place where women can feel safe to be themselves." I'm a guy, so that doesn't work.
In-Depth Adult Discussion? For "older adults who have been living independently". I'm 24 and live with my parents and sister's family, so that' not applicable either.
I honestly have no idea where to post my thread. So where's the Young Adult section? Do we have one? And if not, and there is no intention of making one, where can I post my thread about ASD inheritance statistics for an engaged couple looking to plan ahead before they get married?
