I'm sorry if this is a repeat of what other people have been saying as I've been unable to read what others have writen.

The brightness and the undefined layout is causing me to go into slight sensory overload. My brain is having trouble with words as a result, so sorry if this post is weird in its wording. I'm also having trouble figuring out what I'm seeing on the screen.

Ordinarily I can highlight the screen on my ipad in blue when this happens which usually makes the problem go away. I have the screen highlighted but it is still too bright.

Another problem is that there is not a good visual divide between the different topic tittles when browsing the forum. With my dyslexia and sensory issues I have trouble destinguishing individual lines in a list. So basically I can't read through the list of topics and understand what I'm reading.

I'm really really excited and greatful that the new WP is up and running. However, I can't use it in it's current state and I really really don't want to lose WP. You guys have all ment a lot to me and I don't want to have to leave.

(looking at the preview of this post. I can't figure out visually where the post ends and the other words on the site begin.) Sorry I'm having so much trouble with language and I know this post is probably really confusing.

I have mentioned this before in another thread, but if you go into your computer's Control Panel and go to the user accessibility section, you can change the screen to high contrast. It takes some getting used to, but it makes the background black. The white text is still pretty bright, but at it's better than nothing. And I think you can change the text color as well.

Success!! ! Thanks so much! I went into my ipad settings under accessibility and set it to invert colors. Makes most things a bit weird looking and it's not ideal. The site is still difficult to navigate visually but at least I can use WP again! I'm still having some trouble seeing where topics begin and end but I'm not in sensory overload.

That doesn't work on iOS and Android and that's where a lot of the latest complaints I've seen are. People have been liking these suggestions for computers - but there isn't a (found) solution besides swapping everything to inverted for mobile devices which is really sad :(

Considering the fact that iOS itself is just as bright (actually there's more white in the interface on iOS than there is on WP) and most apps are too, I would think that inverting the colors would be the best solution for the whole OS

Which phpBB style is WrongPlanet using? Is it a style which can accept various color schemes?

...and Android? In the US Android users are about 2/3s of smartphone users (internationally a higher percentage). The "invert colors because iOS is bright" is irrelevant on android.

Finding a solution for this one person with an iPad doesn't help all of us with android phones and tablets.
