I just found this site so I figured I'd join up. I hadn't really given too much thought to other people with AS until recently and now I'm trying to learn more about all this. I'm 17 and about to graduate high school. I love reading and I really enjoy fantasy. I'm not very good at meeting new people and I met most of my new friends through older friends. I've had one boyfriend in my life but it didn't go very well. Apparently he didn't like me as much once he got to know me more. I'd like to try being a writer or a photographer when I get older.
Oh, I think some people just feel better about themselves, if they have more friends then others do. I find having one good friend far better then having 50 poor ones. With me, my friends and I tend to drift apart, that's a nice thing. They see other things that are of interest to them and I do the same. We had a good time together and we move on. The good friends I have and had, feel the same way, we just never said it out loud. Sometimes we even meet agian and it's even better the second time, just because we learned a little more while a part.
Like to do writing and pictures when you get older? Who told you that you had to grow up? Shame on them. You're writing now. Take pictures while you think about what you'd like to write next. Pretty soon they will blend together. I even hear you don't need to use film anymore, what will they think of next. More importantly what will you think of next.
There are very real people behind typed words. I already took your picture and I didn't use a camara. You're a very beautiful person. Now excuse me please, I feel the need to go play on the monkey bars. Maybe we'll meet again and then, maybe we won't. Maybe we never left at all.
