Why is the User Control Panel so hard to find?

In order to access it, I have to click the "My Account" link at the top, click it again to get to the front page of my profile, then click "send private message" just to access my control panel. Why can't there be a direct link to it on the main page of the forums, or something?

Ha, I had no idea it was still accessible at all! Thanks for the tip. So at least you can see your topic subscriptions, board settings, etc. by going to ucp.php

There is still no way to edit your signature, however, because the "Edit your profile" link (ucp.php?i=173) just redirects to the new profile page (https://wrongplanet.net/your-profile/) which doesn't have it.

Do either of you know how to turn off the url truncation feature? Someone mentioned it to me when I brought it up before, but I can't seem to find that setting anywhere.

*looks for signature option* You're right, there IS no way for us to alter our signatures. What the heck?!? That's kind of an essential feature to have on a forum.

Yes I hope they'll notify us when this has been fixed.

I'd start by hoping it will be fixed.

It is not there where I found it (you should be able to change it when replying or making a post, as I posted on Page 14 of the Feedback thread).

I am starting to think that whatever changes were there before the "bugs were fixed" stayed the same.
