Social Assistance and Part-Time

Hi,

I live in Ontario, Canada very close to the niagara border as my location gives away. I currently receive disability income support from the government, which is liveable, pays rent, bus, and food, but is low.

I want to get part-time work because it will bring in some extra income even if they claw back 50% of my work income - it's still more.

Obviously as an autistic - I cannot socialize good, so no socializing, I have a speech impediment too so not talking. I prefer rudimentary tasks and following a routine, so I just do the same basic thing over and over. Anyone got any ideas? Also, I cannot drive so that puts a limit on it too.

P.S: I am going to use the employment supports offered for people with disabilities too, and they can help.

I am sure there are better ideas for steady work from others, but, have you tried any CrowdSourcing services?

When I was in college, I did a lot of time on Amazon's Mechanical Turk service.
Sometimes it was typing out the contact details of a photographed business card, other times it was searching for an item in a photo on Amazon, others it was verifying the propriety of photographs being uploaded to a website.
Each company that hires gigs on Mechanical Turk usually has hundreds of tasks to complete. You just have to find the ones you're good at.

Once you've had your work approved so many times, you'll have other gigs opened to you.

It's home based computer work and doesn't involve speaking to anyone, and the directions for each Hit are usually very specific.

I'd love to hear about other legit CrowdSourcing work myself.
