Some people left when it changed over because they found the new site too bright. I found it too bright too but I used the FireFox fix. My girlfriend doesn't use FF & the brightness is one of the many reasons she hasn't been around sense the switch. I also cant stay logged in more than afew minutes nowadays which is making me not want to come here & post.

To those wanting to return to the old blue and green scheme, here are the instructions:

https://www.wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=271051

For those who don't like change, I can TOTALLY relate, as I hate it, as well----HOWEVER, this will TOTALLY be worth the change!!

Note: The instructions will NOT "bring-back" the old SITE, they will only change your COLORS!!

Yeah, I've had this thought as well, to go back to the old site; this is by far the buggiest site I go to, period. Well, okay... not as bad as the horrible glitch-bomb that is Youtube, but still pretty awful. And like Youtube, it seems to just come up with new glitch ideas at random.

Today's new problem: deciding, entirely at random, wether or not to mark a topic as a "new replies!" one, or a "You've posted in here" one. I might post in one, and it'll show it as "New post you havent seen!! !" afterwards (and yes, I refresh the site and such). Or someone else might post, and when I come back and notice this... the SITE wont have noticed it. I now have to look carefully at every damn one to make sure I dont miss anything due to it's screwups.

Or the other new fun one where I hit "reply" and it takes me to my profile. Just.... wut.

And of course there's the FREQUENT lock-ups... but I dont think THAT is going away unless the infestation known as Cloudflare does. Seriously, I am familiar with many sites that use that. Not ONE of them works right. Or even close to right.

We're fixing the site tonight so all the issues that popped up since the 2nd part of the migration should be fixed.

Also, the lockups should be not happening as much now. Some things were fixed last night.

Do you think there would be a way to offer different skins for the forum, like the old blue/green color scheme, as an on-site option? I've seen other forums do it before, mainly ones based on Vbulletin.
