Bold text on the forum

I know the forum just went through an update but something is still broken (I think); sometimes you'll see someone's username in bold while others aren't.

right after the upgrade a user made an observation that it had to do with the user's date of registration, sometime in 2012. before would be bold, registering after would be regular. (or was it the other way?)

it's likely a feature and not a bug, but i don't know for what purpose if the date thing isn't it. (if the observation is indeed correct!)
