I'm feeling a bit excited about tomorrow. I've good an appointment/interview for a therapeutic work opportunity, and it's pretty much guaranteed unless I really mess things up. Due to the benefits I currently receive both my hours and my wages will be restricted...but it will be a start for me. Personally I think the importance of having a job for people with autism is so often overlooked by parents, carers, and social workers; I consider this to be possibly the best thing that has ever happened for me.
