I need to post something here that’s been a bit fishy to me.
When I’ve tried to use the site a few times, pop ups about a major upgrade is working its way up and around the site.
One night it said, the site will be down for essential maintenance, this specified a time, which was fine as I wasn’t set on using it then, and now there seems to be yet more problems with the posting. Fair enough, the waste of space captchas have been removed but now it seems, a new I.P is going to be a new part of the server.
Already cloud fare slows down the site but now, it looks as though those without the latest upgrade on their mobile phones or windows op system are going to be booed out of here by A) New site ownership and B)
No site backup for current users of none of the newish upgrades. ( blocking cookies which protect ourselves from hackers). Over time this will look like a scam stirred by a media circus.
I don’t think this will prevent hackers from using this site or logging in, as they can use a public library or café to do it. Blocking that access will prevent honest poor people from using it.
Setting up a new I.P on here, and making others follow suit, will generate unwanted criticism from any service paying host and site users.
I’m sorry, but I disagree with adverts bringing in enterprise and new global media hypes to your front door, because it will only pedal in flash favours and cons from bigger companies looking to outshine the media on finding alternative finding for sources which dried up years ago.
The only fair way of restoring a site is to create a new one for average people and latest android users who want to post selfies of themselves all day and become as used to posting here as, sharing a Twitter account should be modified accordingly.
If this is today’s header of sub letting out to ordinary folk then let them have their modern day trash that seems to bug every current operating system and human being on the planet that I for one could do without.
On a stronger note, do not do your internet banking here whilst using an ap if you are unsure about which way this site is headed up.
Like wikepedia, all source income is generated via over exuberant volunteers who would give their right leg amputated to be able to have this place. Do a dating ap for aspie affection, don’t manipulate users into using a site that is going to do them no favours and trick them into becoming part of the Big Brother millenium.
At least if you had a delete account function, it may remove unwanted spies from the net, looking to cash into the media frenzy on Youtube, face book or others.
