Collecting foreign language books

Does anyone else collect foreign language books? I feel a bit guilty knowing that I haven't looked at some of mine for more than a few minutes (or less), but I like having them around. I've never studied Swedish, but if I ever wanted to I've got something to begin with.

Norwegian: 1 workbook and 2 dictionaries
Swedish: 1 educational book
Welsh: 1 dictionary
Latin: 1 dictionary
French: 1 dictionary
Hawaiian: 1 dictionary
Irish: 2 of the same book and 2 CDs

I also have a book on the origins of English phrases, but almost every time I've tried to use it, it didn't have what I was looking for. :p

not so much books but maps. especially interesting to see ones that have included claimed territory, though it's rare. irridentism and such...

i have a map of the PRC behind a map i made behind my laptop right now. i was looking at it in public the day i bought it and a tourist that was from there say down by me and tried to talk to me. he pointed to a city (i think it was Chongqing), maybe he was from there.

books.

besides the numerous books in spanish my mom read to me, i have a picture book in japanese my art teacher gave to me, depicts various monsters, kaijus and such.

The majority of my books are foreign. If I were to rely on what little is translated to Norwegian, I'd be bored out of my mind.
I also have some Swedish and Danish turtle books, and one cute little version of the The Books of Psalms in Hebrew.

I enjoy collecting foreign language books! I have got about 70 books to learn: English, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Japanese, Latin, and so on. I use them a lot, especially the ones published by Assimil. I will buy a method to learn the Persian language soon ; maybe the Norwegian as well.

I might do it if I hadn't decided to stop collecting anything containing atoms a few years ago.

Indonesian: 4 dictionaries, 4 learning books
Greek: language guide
Finnish: language guide
Hungarian: language guide
Polish: language guide, small grammar
Czech: 2 language guides
Croatian: language guide
Bulgarian: language guide
Rumanian: dictionary, language guide
Japanese: small dictionary, kanji guide, grammar, 2 learning books
Korean: small dictionary, grammar, 2 learning books
Thai: a dictionary, 2 learning books
Vietnamese: a dictionary, a learning book

Most of the above, I haven't made a serious effort at learning. Last Tuesday I heard four Portuguese people speak to each other while I was waiting for a job interview, and I could understand words but not sentences. But it was fun to listen in, and it might inspire me to do more about language learning.
