So which "Wonka" kid was most likely on the spectrum?

This thread relates to the 1971 movie, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", and not the 2005 Burton/Depp remake called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Of the five kids that had golden tickets, which do you feel most likely had ASD issues?


I chose Mike due to his narrow interests as well as disliking distractions.

I am amazed even with four votes that Mike is the only character with votes.

Looks like we have a vote for Veruca Salt now, but I've always considered her way more OCD than ASD.

Violet had a gum obsession, and a lot of us can consume immense amounts of food that we love. It's sort of stimming in a way.

None. They are ordinary kids with bad traits, except for Charlie.

I understand Violet Beauregarde (lower left) supposedly resides here in the Denver area nowdays.
